WhatsApp Introduces an Interesting and Useful New Feature for Users

WhatsApp is adding an interesting and useful feature that is set to enhance the user experience.

According to a report, the new beta version of WhatsApp for Android devices introduces a custom filter feature.

With this feature, users can create various chat filters and include their preferred contacts in them. This will make it easier to find and chat with important individuals.

Currently, WhatsApp offers 4 chat filters introduced by the company. However, this new feature allows users to create their own lists, which can include different contacts or groups. For instance, users can create separate lists for family, work, friends, and more.

Once a list is created, WhatsApp will automatically generate a filter for that list at the top of the chat screen, named after the list for easy identification.

When you click on a custom filter, only the chats included in that filter will appear in the WhatsApp chat window.

If you are a beta user, you can go to WhatsApp settings and find a new option called “Lists” where you can create a new list and name it according to your preference.

As this feature is currently available only in the beta version, it is not yet clear when it will be rolled out to all users.
