Video of Israeli Forces Burning Copies of the Quran in Gaza Surfaces

During aggressive operations in Gaza, a video has surfaced showing Israeli forces storming a mosque and setting copies of the Quran on fire.

According to the Qatari news outlet Al Jazeera, Israeli soldiers desecrated copies of the Quran in the Bani Saleh Mosque in northern Gaza, recording their heinous act using body cameras.

In videos circulating on social media, Israeli soldiers can be seen desecrating and burning copies of the Quran inside the mosque.

Additionally, another video has emerged showing Israeli forces demolishing a 96-year-old mosque in Gaza.

The desecration of the Quran in Gaza by Israeli forces has sparked intense anger among Muslims worldwide.

Condemning the provocative actions of the Israeli soldiers, Hamas stated that such hateful acts reflect the extremist nature of the Israeli military. Posting such videos on social media points to Israel’s systematic criminal policy.

It is worth noting that since October 7, 2023, the Israeli military has demolished 609 mosques in Gaza. An additional 211 mosques have been partially damaged due to Israeli bombings. Among the mosques affected by Israeli aggression is the 1,400-year-old Omari Mosque in Gaza City.

Moreover, Israeli forces have also destroyed three churches in Gaza.

As a result of Israeli aggression since October 7, 2023, more than 40,300 Palestinians have been martyred, the majority of whom are women and children. Additionally, over 93,000 people have been injured.

The recent severe blockade imposed by Israel on Gaza has led to a critical shortage of food, water, and medicines, exacerbating the already dire living conditions for the long-besieged population of Gaza.
