The Wildlife Department in Sargodha arrested two hunters involved in the illegal hunting of rare bird species.
According to the Deputy Director of Wildlife, the hunters were caught hunting birds illegally in Tehsil Sillanwali and Chota Sahiwal.
The Deputy Director stated that the hunters’ equipment was confiscated, and both were fined 50,000 rupees each.
He further mentioned that several partridges and quails were found in the possession of the hunters and were subsequently released.
The Deputy Director of Wildlife added that actions against those hunting rare birds are ongoing.
