Tight Security at Checkpoints in Lahore, 5 Suspects Arrested and Weapons Recovered

Lahore: Strict security measures are ongoing at checkpoints in the provincial capital. The Mujahid Squad at the Glovera checkpoint stopped a suspicious vehicle and, upon inspection, recovered weapons, leading to the arrest of five suspects.

According to a Dolphin Squad spokesperson, the officers at the checkpoint inspected a suspicious vehicle and found a rifle, pistol, 90 bullets, 4 magazines, and a police flasher light.

The spokesperson stated that the arrested suspects have been handed over to the Kahna police station for legal proceedings.

SP Mujahid Shahmeer Khalid mentioned that stringent monitoring is being maintained at all entry and exit points in the provincial capital.
