Lahore police have arrested the shooters, Azhar and Ilyas, from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the murder of Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Taifi Butt.
Earlier this month, Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Khawaja Tarif Gulshan, also known as Taifi Butt, a named suspect in the murder of Ameer Balaj Tipu, was killed in broad daylight by unidentified assailants on Canal Road in Lahore.
According to the police, the incident occurred near the FC College underpass on Canal Road when Javed Butt, accompanied by his wife, was on his way to pick up his daughter from school in Gulberg.
Javed Butt, the brother-in-law of Taifi Butt, a named suspect in the murder of Ameer Balaj, was killed in broad daylight in Lahore.
The police stated that the attackers were on a motorcycle, opened fire, and fled the scene. Javed Butt’s wife was injured in the attack and was taken to the hospital, where her condition was reported to be stable.
Seven months ago, Ameer Balaj was killed during a wedding ceremony. Khawaja Tarif Gulshan, alias Taifi Butt, and Gogi Butt were named in this case, while the main suspect, Ahsan Shah, was killed in a police encounter recently.
