In Bannu, angry protesters stormed the Intermediate Board office after students received low scores on their exams.
The protesters scaled the building’s walls and broke windows and doors. They demanded a re-evaluation of the students’ answer sheets.
The disturbance led to the arrival of police at the scene. The protesters dispersed after being assured of negotiations with the Commissioner of Bannu on Thursday.
The Intermediate Board administration reported that the attack caused damages worth millions of rupees to the board’s property.
