Sindh Chief Minister Orders Immediate Arrest of Those Involved in Firing at Karachi Rally

Sindh Chief Minister has condemned the incident in which two people were killed during a clash between two groups in Golimar, Karachi, and has ordered the immediate arrest of those responsible for the firing at the rally.

According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister’s House, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah took notice of the firing in Golimar, expressed his grief over the loss of life, and condemned the incident.

The spokesperson stated that the Chief Minister has directed the immediate arrest of those involved in the firing at the rally.

The Chief Minister also urged citizens to remain peaceful and instructed the district administration and police to resolve the situation, emphasizing that senior officials should personally oversee the matter.

According to the spokesperson, the Chief Minister asserted that no one would be allowed to disturb the peace and order in the city.

Meanwhile, a heavy contingent of Sindh Rangers has been deployed in Golimar to control the tense situation.

According to a Rangers spokesperson, following the tense situation between religious groups in Golimar, a large number of Rangers personnel, along with senior officers, have been deployed at the site.

The spokesperson further stated that strict legal action will be taken against anyone involved in inciting violence or promoting religious hatred.
