An incident of short-term kidnapping by individuals dressed in police uniforms has come to light in Karachi.
The uniformed individuals kidnapped a citizen from the Mehran Town area of Korangi district in Karachi and collected a ransom of five lakh rupees.
SSP Korangi, Tuhid Memon, stated that CCTV footage of the kidnapping has been obtained.
He mentioned that the police are reviewing the CCTV footage to determine which district the officers seen in the video belong to.
He also informed that a case has been registered, and the culprits will be identified soon.
