School Closure Announcement in Karachi Due to Rain

All schools in Karachi and educational institutions in Hyderabad have been announced closed today due to rain.

It is important to note that Sindh is currently under the influence of the monsoon system, and a cyclone alert has also been issued. The Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of a cyclone forming along Sindh’s coastal areas by tonight or tomorrow morning, which may result in heavy rainfall in Karachi and other districts of Sindh.

Various districts in the province are experiencing intermittent rainfall, with some areas receiving light rain and others experiencing heavy showers.

Due to the rain, all public and private schools in Karachi will remain closed today, Friday.

In this regard, the Karachi Commissioner has issued a notification.

According to the Karachi Commissioner, this decision was made in consultation with the Meteorological Department and the Provincial Disaster Management Authority.

Additionally, all educational institutions in Hyderabad district will remain closed today due to the rain.

A notification issued by the administration states that all public and private educational institutions in Hyderabad district will remain closed today.

It is worth noting that educational institutions in Hyderabad district were also closed yesterday due to the rains.

Furthermore, educational institutions in other districts of the province, including Sanghar, Nawabshah, Jamshoro, Tando Allahyar, Mirpurkhas, and Umerkot, have already been announced closed for today and tomorrow.

On the other hand, in Azad Kashmir, all public and private educational institutions have also been announced closed today due to the rains.

The recent heavy rains have prompted the district administration to issue a high alert and cancel the leaves of doctors in hospitals.
