Robber Jumps into Drain to Escape Arrest During Mugging

In Karachi’s Shadman Town No. 2, a robber jumped into a drain to save himself after attempting to mug a citizen. 

According to residents, three robbers were trying to mug a man when, upon his shouting for help, locals tried to catch the robbers. As people gathered, two robbers managed to escape, while the third jumped into the drain to evade capture.

Residents informed the police that they threw stones at the robber in an attempt to force him out, and after some time, he emerged from the drain.

The police stated that the public beat the robber before handing him over to the authorities, who then took him into custody and transferred him to a hospital.
