Prime Minister’s political advisor and PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah confirmed his meeting with Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) leader Mahmood Khan Achakzai.
During a conversation on Geo News’ program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Ke Saath,” Rana Sanaullah verified his meeting with Mahmood Khan Achakzai and mentioned that he asked Achakzai what mandate Imran Khan had given him, as Khan often claims he is unwilling to talk to us.
Rana Sanaullah shared that Achakzai expressed regret over the situation, stating that progress cannot be made unless everyone tolerates and talks to each other. Nawaz Sharif has always advocated this approach and never suggested excluding PTI.
Regarding the condition of an apology over the May 9 incident, Rana Sanaullah said that in politics, some responses become necessary because PTI founder Imran Khan repeatedly states that he is unwilling to talk to them.
Rana Sanaullah added that when Shehbaz Sharif became Prime Minister and offered talks to everyone, he did not impose the condition of an apology.
