PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat has stated that the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was persuaded to cancel a rally due to a misrepresentation of the situation.
Speaking on Geo News’ program “Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath,” he mentioned that the cancellation of the August 22 rally has caused significant damage, with party workers upset and resorting to abusive language.
“I was not included in the organizing committee for the September 8 rally. If the rally fails, I am not responsible,” he added.
Sher Afzal Marwat also expressed that those who postponed the rally would not be rewarded for this action.
He further stated that party workers have expressed doubts about the September 8 rally, fearing that it might also be postponed.
He claimed that by excluding him from the organization of the September 8 rally, attempts have been made to weaken its successful execution.
