PPP and PML-N Agree to Continue Political Cooperation for Punjab’s Development and Public Relief

The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have agreed to continue their political cooperation for the development of Punjab and public relief.

A coordination committee meeting between PML-N and PPP was held in Lahore, where PPP was represented by Hasan Murtaza, Nadeem Afzal Chan, and Haider Gilani, while Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb represented the Punjab Chief Minister.

PPP leaders appreciated the steps taken by Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz for the development of the people.

The leaders stated that collaboration would be extended in providing solar systems to the public, as well as in addressing climate challenges, maintaining law and order, and promoting IT.

On this occasion, Ali Haider Gilani expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and PML-N for agreeing on a public relief formula. He emphasized that overcoming obstacles and moving forward is the only way the public will benefit from the coalition government.

Additionally, Maryam Aurangzeb stated that they remain committed to the policy of taking allied parties along, while Hasan Murtaza mentioned that having differing opinions is their fundamental right, and they agree to work together to solve public issues.
