Pakistani Snooker Player Shahram Changezi Achieves Major Feat in the USA

Pakistani snooker player Shahram Changezi has achieved a significant milestone in the USA by becoming the first cueist to play a 147 break.

During a practice match before the Embassy Open, he scored a remarkable 147 break against former Pakistan ranking player Farhan Idrees. This is the first 147 break ever recorded at any level in the USA, with the break lasting approximately 10 minutes.

Shahram Changezi is one of Pakistan’s prominent snooker players. He was part of Pakistan’s bronze medal-winning snooker team at the 2010 Asian Games. Additionally, he has won medals for Pakistan in both the Asian and World Championships.

Last year, Shahram Changezi also won the Texas Open Snooker title.

In snooker, a 147 break is the highest possible break, requiring a player to pot all red balls with black balls in a single turn, followed by potting all the colored balls.
