Nigerian Footballer Injured Due to Forceful Sneeze
Victor Adeboyejo, a Nigerian footballer playing for an English club, suffered an injury after a forceful sneeze caused severe back pain.
According to foreign media, the footballer, who currently represents the English football club Bolton Wanderers, was injured due to a powerful sneeze.
The club’s manager explained, “Believe it or not, our player Victor suffered intense rib pain due to a forceful sneeze, which also forced him out of the team.”
The manager added that the 26-year-old fears his ribs might have been affected, possibly even fractured, due to the sneeze. However, they hope it is just a muscle issue, but they cannot be certain until the scan results are available.
It is worth noting that a sneeze can travel at speeds of 100 to 500 miles per hour and is an automatic bodily response to keep the airways clear.
Research by the National Library of Medicine has suggested that a powerful sneeze can also cause severe pain in the lower back.
Recently, in Florida, a man’s intestines protruded as a result of a forceful sneeze.
