A Qatar Airways flight en route from Doha to Kathmandu made an emergency landing in Karachi due to a medical emergency.
According to aviation sources, Flight QR 652 was traveling from Doha to Kathmandu when a passenger’s health deteriorated while in Pakistani airspace.
The pilot contacted Karachi Air Traffic Control (ATC) to request permission for an emergency landing. Following the ATC’s instructions, the pilot diverted the aircraft from Sukkur to Karachi.
The flight made an emergency landing at Jinnah Airport at around 8:15 AM. A medical team attended to the passenger upon landing and conducted a medical examination.
