The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has abolished the Educational Testing and Evaluation Agency (ETA) test for jobs below Scale 9.
The Higher Education Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a notification in light of the provincial cabinet’s decision.
According to the announcement, recruitments in departments other than police, revenue, prisons, forests, excise, and rescue services will not be conducted through ETA. For these six departments, recruitment for Scale 9 positions will be done independently by the departments themselves.
The notification further states that recruitments in autonomous bodies will also not be conducted through ETA.
