Government of Pakistan and people stand with Bangladeshi people: Foreign Office

The Government of Pakistan has issued its first official statement regarding the current political situation in Bangladesh.

The Foreign Office spokesperson stated that the Government and people of Pakistan stand with the Bangladeshi people.

He expressed hope that the situation in Bangladesh would be peaceful and return to normal quickly.

He believed that the spirit and unity of the Bangladeshi people would lead them towards a harmonious future.

It is noteworthy that on Monday, August 5, after student protests, Hasina Wajid left power and fled to India in a military helicopter.

Following this, the Army Chief announced the formation of an interim government.

Following the resignation of Prime Minister Hasina Wajid, the process of forming an interim government in Bangladesh has begun.

Nobel Laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus has been appointed the head of the interim government.

On the other hand, life in Bangladesh is beginning to return to normal, with educational institutions and garment factories reopening and traffic resuming on the roads.
