A police vehicle overturned in Ghotki while on its way to rescue a kidnapped man, resulting in the death of the kidnapped man’s son and injuries to four police officers.
According to the police, the incident occurred near the Muhammad Panah Tranda area on the motorway, where the son of the kidnapped man lost his life.
The victim’s family protested against the incident, demanding action against those responsible and accusing the police officers of taking one lakh rupees from the son’s pocket.
The police stated that a citizen named Sohrab Khatian was kidnapped eight days ago, and the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of 2.5 million rupees.
According to the SSP, the SHO Qabil Bheo and the head constable have been suspended, and an investigation into the incident will be conducted.
