Founder of PTI seeking NRO, but government will not grant it: KP Governor

The founder of PTI, Imran Khan, is seeking an NRO from the government, but the government will not grant it, according to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi.

Governor Kundi made these remarks while visiting the residence of PPP leader Bilal Sherpao in Swabi to offer condolences on the passing of Bilal Sherpao’s uncle.

Kundi stated that while the PTI founder is requesting an NRO from the government, the government will not provide one. The resolution of his cases will be determined by the courts.

Regarding the no-confidence motion, the Governor said that the PPP will not support PTI in such a motion, asserting that the alliance with the PML-N remains strong.

Kundi also mentioned that Maulana Fazlur Rehman is in a difficult situation, as Asad Qaiser frequently visits him, and Fazlur Rehman is facing his own challenges, including efforts to convert Jews to Islam.
