Flight from Dhaka to Baku Makes Emergency Landing in Karachi Due to Technical Fault

A flight from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, to Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, made an emergency landing in Karachi due to a technical fault.

According to Civil Aviation sources, Fly Pro Airline’s flight FP 5202 was en route from Dhaka to Baku when it experienced a technical malfunction in Indian airspace.

Aviation sources stated that the Boeing 747 aircraft faced a disruption in its hydraulic system, preventing it from gaining altitude. Upon entering Pakistani airspace, the technical issue remained unresolved, prompting the pilot to contact Karachi Air Traffic Control for permission to land.

Once permission was granted, the pilot rerouted the cargo flight, diverting it towards Karachi near Sukkur.

The flight made an emergency landing at Jinnah International Airport at 2:45 a.m. The aircraft is currently at Karachi Airport and is undergoing inspection.
