A fire has broken out in the forest of the mountainous region of Sherani, located in the Qaisaghhar range.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the fire has erupted in the forest of the Qaisaghhar mountains in Sherani.
The PDMA reported that Sherani’s natural forest is home to pine nut (Chilgoza) trees. Levies Force and forest department teams have reached the affected area.
The PDMA further stated that the situation of the fire in Sherani’s forest is being assessed.
