Finance Minister Decides to Appoint Adviser for Economic and Financial Reforms, What Will Be the Salary?

Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has decided to appoint an Adviser for Economic and Financial Reforms.

According to the Finance Division, applications for the position of Adviser for Economic and Financial Reforms are being accepted until September 9, 2024. Interested candidates must apply online through the National Job Portal.

The successful candidate will receive a salary equivalent to Special Professional Pay Scale 1 (SPPS-1), which is set between PKR 1.5 to 2 million per month. The adviser will be appointed for two years in the Economic and Financial Reforms Unit.

The Finance Division states that the minimum educational requirement for the position is a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview according to the established rules.

The two-year contract for the adviser can be extended based on performance.
