Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, celebrated Independence Day in a unique manner by distributing 5 liters of free petrol each to over 10,000 motorcyclists. Additionally, more than 5,000 rickshaws will also receive 5 liters of free petrol.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, a Member of the National Assembly elected from Chiniot, had announced that anyone who visited his residence on Independence Day with a Pakistani flag on their motorcycle would receive 5 liters of free petrol.
On Independence Day, from 9 AM to 8 PM, over 10,000 motorcyclists were provided with free petrol, and on August 15, the same facility will be extended to over 5,000 rickshaws.
Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh also announced that as a part of the Independence Day celebrations, electricity prices are being reduced, and up to 200 units of electricity will be provided for free.
He further stated that he is ready to cover all expenses for any child from his constituency who gets admitted to a college or university on merit. Additionally, every girl will receive a gift from his side at the time of her marriage.
