Earthquake tremors have been felt in the U.S. state of California, as well as in Israel and several countries in the Middle East.
According to the earthquake monitoring center, a 4.4 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the city of Los Angeles, California, causing the suburban area of El Sereno to shake.
According to media reports, the tremors were also felt in southern regions of California, but no reports of casualties or property damage have been received.
The East German Research Center for Geosciences reported that the earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5 in Jordan and Syria, while in Israel, the magnitude was recorded at 5.2.
