Dera Ismail Khan: 3 Terrorists Killed in CTD Operation

In an operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Dera Ismail Khan’s Dauran Road, three terrorists were killed.

According to CTD officials, the suspects had set up roadblocks to rob vehicles. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the deceased terrorists.

IG Akhtar Hayat Ghandapur stated that the bodies of the slain terrorists have been moved to the hospital, where their identification process is ongoing.

It was reported that security forces in Bajaur District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thwarted an attempted infiltration by the Khawarij on the Pak-Afghan border, killing 5 terrorists of the Khawarij faction.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a group of Khawarij was spotted moving along the Pak-Afghan border on the night of August 18-19.

ISPR reported that security forces effectively thwarted the infiltration attempt, resulting in the death of 5 Khawarij terrorists and 4 others being injured during the exchange of fire.
