Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission Resigns, Ahsan Iqbal Appointed as New Deputy Chairman
Dr. Muhammad Jehanzeb Khan has resigned from his position as the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, and the Prime Minister has accepted his resignation.
Following Dr. Jehanzeb’s resignation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has assigned Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal the responsibilities of Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
According to the notification, the acceptance of Dr. Jehanzeb’s resignation is effective immediately.
The notification further states that Ahsan Iqbal has been given the additional responsibilities of Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission.
