Delivery Boy Murdered by Online Smartphone Orderers Instead of Paying
In the Indian city of Lucknow, individuals who ordered a smartphone online strangled the delivery boy to death instead of paying him.
According to Indian media reports, 30-year-old delivery boy Bhart Prajapati was killed on September 23 while delivering a smartphone in Lucknow.
The reports state that Bhart was delivering the smartphone to a person named Himanshu, who had ordered it through an Indian online app with cash on delivery.
It is reported that when Bhart arrived at Himanshu’s house with the smartphone order, two individuals present there took the smartphone from him, strangled him to death, and then dumped his body in a canal.
Police said that after Bhart did not return home for two days, his parents filed a report with the police, prompting an investigation. The police traced Bhart’s phone number to locate Himanshu’s house and arrested two suspects.
During the investigation, Himanshu and his accomplice confessed to the murder of Bhart, while one of the suspects remains at large.
