Attack on Geo News Reporter Qazi Fazlullah’s Sons in Peshawar
In Khyber, the sons of Geo News reporter Qazi Fazlullah were attacked in Peshawar. According to Qazi Fazlullah, two of his sons and a nephew were severely injured with knife wounds.
He stated that his 20-year-old son, Osama, and his nephew, Abid Khan, are in critical condition. The three young men were returning from Asad Market to their residence in Asad Colony when they were attacked by knife-wielding assailants who had been lying in wait.
The Nasir Bagh police station has detained two Afghan nationals. Police have registered a case against unidentified suspects.
Qazi Fazlullah had previously been receiving threats.
