In the Ghoutki area of Mirpur Mathelo, unknown armed individuals attacked the family and citizens of martyred journalist Nasrullah Gudani as they were returning from a protest demanding the arrest of his killers in front of the SSP office.
According to the police, unknown armed individuals assaulted the protesters with sticks as they were leaving the demonstration, resulting in injuries to several people, including Nasrullah’s brother.
The attackers also targeted journalists during the incident. The public protested on the National Highway against the attack.
DSP Mirpur Mathelo stated that an investigation is underway. However, the protest on the National Highway was called off after two hours following assurances.
It is noted that journalist Nasrullah Gudani, who was injured in a shooting by unknown assailants on May 24 in Mirpur Mathelo, succumbed to his injuries during treatment in Karachi.
