Arshad Nadeem, who made history at Paris Olympics, to receive gold medal today

Pakistan’s Olympian Arshad Nadeem, who made history at the Paris Olympics, will be awarded the gold medal tonight.

According to Khalid Mahmood, the Secretary of the Pakistan Olympic Association, the medal ceremony will be held at the Paris Athletics Stadium at 10 PM.

Khalid Mahmood further stated that Arshad Nadeem has made the entire nation proud and is the rightful recipient of this gold medal.

He also expressed happiness over the announcements made by the Sindh government.

It is noteworthy that Olympian Arshad Nadeem has won a gold medal in the Olympics for Pakistan after 40 years, becoming the first Pakistani to win a gold medal in an individual event.

Arshad Nadeem set a new Olympic record in javelin by throwing a distance of 92.97 meters.
