Bollywood’s legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan became emotional on the set of the famous Indian game show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati.’
According to Indian media, the 81-year-old Amitabh Bachchan is set to host season 16 of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati,’ and the show commenced this week.
Upon returning to host the television game show, he became quite emotional. The show’s promo was released by an Indian TV channel, in which he welcomed the viewers and participants with a heartfelt speech, saying, “I don’t have the words to thank my fans.”
He added, “Today marks the beginning of a new season, but I am at a loss for words because there simply aren’t any that can adequately express my gratitude for your love.”
As the show’s crew gave him a standing ovation, Amitabh Bachchan’s eyes welled up with tears, and he said, “I cannot thank you enough because it is the prayers of the people that have brought ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ to where it is today.”
He further stated, “I salute the people of this country for giving this show a new life because it has been successful solely because of them.”
