Aleema Khan Denies Imran Khan Embraced Sher Afzal Murot, Says They Only Shook Hands
Aleema Khan, the sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, has refuted claims made by Sher Afzal Murot.
In a media conversation, Aleema Khan stated that the truth should be told, which is why she is speaking out now. She emphasized that they have seen a lot and are now choosing to be patient, urging an end to all games and conflicts.
She addressed Murot’s claim that when he met Imran Khan, the PTI founder embraced him. Aleema Khan clarified that Imran Khan only shook hands with Sher Afzal Murot and did not embrace him. She advised Murot to speak the truth if he wants to move forward.
She also commented that the public should come out on their own and not be led. She suggested that people should attend rallies but noted that they are not like sheep who will come just because they are called.
It is noteworthy that Sher Afzal Murot had recently met Imran Khan in jail and, in a subsequent media briefing, claimed that after three months, he met with the PTI founder, shook hands, and was embraced. He also mentioned that mutual grievances were addressed and that responsibilities for the August 22 rally were assigned to Barrister Gohar, who assured that party differences would not persist.
