Private TV Anchor Killed in Traffic Accident in Karachi

A private TV anchor was killed in a traffic accident in Karachi, according to police officials. The accident occurred near the Avari Hotel on Shahrah-e-Faisal when a speeding car veered onto the sidewalk, resulting in the death of a person inside the vehicle. The car’s excessive speed was cited as the cause of the accident.

Police identified the deceased as Abdullah, who had worked as an anchor for various private TV channels and had recently joined a YouTube channel. Abdullah was a resident of the Lines Area. After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to his family, and further investigations into the incident are ongoing.

Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Senior Minister Sharjeel Memon, and Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani expressed their grief and sorrow over the tragic death of anchor Abdullah Hassan.
