In the city of Kalat, Balochistan, an armed attack has claimed the lives of 10 people, including police and Levies personnel.
According to SSP Kalat, Dosteen Dashti, those killed in the attack include a police sub-inspector, four Levies personnel, and five civilians.
SSP Kalat stated that after the shooting, the assailants fled the scene, and efforts to clear the area are ongoing.
Police reported that since last night, an exchange of gunfire between the police and armed individuals has been taking place on the national highway and in the city of Kalat.
It is noteworthy that last night, in the Musakhel area of Balochistan, armed individuals also killed 23 passengers by forcing them off their vehicles. According to police, all the victims were taken off trucks and passenger buses and were shot dead.
