70 Injured in air firing during Independence Day celebrations

Karachi: On the occasion of Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day, 70 people were injured due to air firing in various areas of Karachi.

According to rescue sources, the injured include children and two women, who have been transferred to hospitals.

Rescue sources report that incidents of air firing occurred in areas such as Mauripur Road, PIB Colony, Old Golimar, and Korangi, as well as Jamshaid Quarter, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Lyari, and Malir 15, where injured individuals were also brought to hospitals.

It is worth noting that the 78th Independence Day is being celebrated nationwide with great enthusiasm and zeal.

On this Independence Day, people have decorated the entire country with colorful lights, green flags, and banners.

In Karachi, the decoration of buildings along major roads has transformed the city’s appearance, while Islamabad is also adorned with a spectrum of colors.
