Senior leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan, Dr. Farooq Sattar, has stated that if the PML-N unilaterally decides to replace the Governor of Sindh, then there will be no justification for MQM to remain in the government.
He emphasized that the Governor of Sindh is an MQM representative, and it was agreed with the PML-N that Kamran Tessori would remain the Governor of Sindh.
It is noteworthy that there have been speculations about Kamran Tessori’s removal. Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar denied reports that Bashir Memon would be appointed as the Governor of Sindh.
However, hinting at a possible change, he mentioned that consultations with the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) are ongoing, and a decision will be made in a few days.
